Ag health concerences 2021-22¨, June 2, 2022

Farming is a dangerous occupation and workplace fatalities on farms account for a disproportionate number of total occupational fatalities in most if not all EU countries. A body of literature has developed over the past number of decades describing the nature or characteristics of fatalities which has proved useful in support the design and implementation of education and awareness raising interventions. Despite this, the number of farm fatalities remains high. As part of the Behaviours for Safer Farming project (BeSAFE), funded by the Irish Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, we are exploring the perceptions, attitudes and intentions of farmers and farm advisors with regard to their work and safety. The programme and abstracts are attached.

This seminar will be hosted online starting at 13.30 (GMT) on April 27th. Please register here: https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/3rd-international-besafe-farm-safety-seminar-tickets-148483378783
